Directions for installing and configuring the Lorex camera viewer for HEB Music & Dance Preschool
Open the Windows Explorer Internet browser and enter heb-preschool.com in the address field and press go.
Press the “Links” menu option in the green block on the left side.
Click on link Lorex camera viewer and select “Run” in the next dialog.
Press “Run” in the following dialog.
Select “Install” in the following dialog…be sure Desktop is selected in the Destination folder.
Open "Windows Explorer", select "Desktop" from the drop down list at the top of the
dialog box.
Find "Lorex Client - Windows Installer Package" and double click to execute. The icon
looks like a computer with a CD.
Press the "Next" button to continue the install.
There should now be two Lorex icons on the Windows Desktop.
Double click on "Lorex Client". It looks like a big eye ball.
This will open the Lorex viewing interface. It must now be configured
to open a connection with the cameras at the HEB Music and Dance Preschool.
Configure the connection information.
Press the icon in the upper right section which looks like an open ended wrench.
It is the middle blue icon just under the time display. This will open a new
window which will accept the specific connection information called "Local Setup".
Right click on the "Site" icon and press "Add Group".
Enter "hebpreschool" and press "OK".
Enter the DVR information:
Name: p1
IP / Domain Name: 68.95.132.208
Port: 6100
User ID: p1
Password: Call HEB Music and Dance for password.
Enter the Camera Assignment information...
Under the section labled DVR, select 1, 2, 3, 4 in the top row of list boxes.
This will allow display of the four main classroom cameras.
Press the "Add" button toward the bottom section of the dialog box.
Press "OK" to exit the Local Setup dialog box.
Select "hebpreschool" in the list box on the right side of the Lorex Viewer.
Press the left button just under the list box. This will request the Internet
connection to the HEB Preschool camera system.
This is the first phase of making our camera system service available to parents.
At this point there is a limited number of viewing clients allowed so …
please be considerate of other parents and limit your viewing to a few minutes at a time.
Only one parent at a time can use a specific user id !
If there is a connection error ...
Press the wrench button and change the User ID to p2, p3, or p4.
Please Note: Each time the camera viewer is opened, Select "hebpreschool" in the list box on the right side of the Lorex Viewer, then: Press the left connection button just under the list box.
If this service is valuable to our parents and we get positive feedback, we will
expand the capability to allow more parents to view the cameras at the same time.
