Our program includes a daily ART class!

At HEB Music & Dance, children are exposed to many elements of art. They are taught to use crayons, markers, colored pencils, paint, paintbrushes, water colors, glitter, glue sticks, scissors, clay and various other mediums. They are also exposed to fundamentals such as primary and secondary colors, color mixing, color families, line, shape, form and details. They learn about sculptures, 3-dimensional art, beading and jewelry.

We have not forgotten however, that preschool art is more about the process and less about the product. As they learn to fundamentals and create wonderful works of art, children's self-esteem is built up by teachers and peers respecting the efforts of every child.

In addition, we document what the children have to say about their creations, letting them know that what they have to say is valuable.
